MUMBAI: Mohsin Khan needs no introduction. The actor has become a household name for his role Kartik Goenka in Star Plus' show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Mohsin has been a part of the show for many years now. Also, Mohsin's onscreen pairing with Shivangi Joshi has worked wonders for the show.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opened many doors for the actor and today, he is a top-rated star of the telly world. Mohsin was lucky enough to bag this amazing role and he also proved to be a perfect choice for it.

Apparently, before Mohsin bagged the project, popular TV actor Zain Imam was approached for Kartik's role. However, the actor who was already busy with his other projects couldn't take up, and the role eventually went to Mohsin.  

Zain is known for his shows like Tashan-E-Ishq, Naamkarann, among others. 

Well, Mohsin has impressed everyone with his stellar performance in the show. He has been a part of the show for many years now, making the series a must-watch for the viewers.
