Disha Parmar, the pretty damsel who entertained one and all with her impressive portrayal in Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara misses seeing herself on TV.

Says the actress, “Yes, it is high time that I made a comeback. I miss seeing myself on TV.”

So what is it that Disha is looking at?

“There is nothing specific, but I am waiting for a different character, something that will appeal me,” stresses Disha. 

Talking about the supernatural trend that prevails today, Disha shares her thoughts. “People like it, and enjoy watching it. But this is not something that will appeal me. Trends will change, and with it the viewers’ choice will also change.”

So will Disha accept such a show which is supernaturally inclined? “I don’t think so; probably only if I am offered lot of money (smiles).”

Disha who got a lot of acclaim after being part of a love story in Pyaar Ka Dard does not mind taking up the same genre. “Love stories are the best, and people like watching them. Love stories mixed with the tadka of saas-bahu is what sells today.”

Disha has a thought to share for her peers in the industry. “TRPs no doubt, rule the industry. It is a trend that has been followed for a long time now. But yes, when a show does not work and gets shut in a short span, it does demoralize the actors involved. So my advice will be to not work keeping in mind the TRP. One needs to give their best to work, by not giving much of improtance to TRP. Frankly speaking, it is not in our hands. If you are lucky, you will succeed. Having said this, hard work always gets counted.”

Disha is actually rumoured to be part of Gul and Gorky’s upcoming Star Plus show, Ishqbaaz. Ask her about it, and she says, “There is nothing right now. I cannot comment.”
