MUMBAI: Star Plus’ yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke is set to witness a major replacement.
As reported by TellyChakkar, Avinash Mishra has replaced Rithvik Arora as Kunal Rajvansh in the show.

Avinash will be paired opposite Kuhu played by Kaveri Priyam.
In a candid chat with TellyChakkar, Kaveri Priyam opened up about Ritvik Arora’s exit from the show. She said, “I know it’s difficult for the audience to suddenly accept a new actor as Kunal Rajvash as they’ve showered so much of love on Ritvik Arora, but I hope they maintain a positive outlook and accept the change.”
She further added, “The decision that Rithvik has taken is because of the pandemic and we should respect his decision and accept the situation while showing positivity towards the show”.
Speaking about Ritvik’s take on not shooting in pandemic, she said, “To each his own, I feel. Rather than this being his decision, the production had to take this step sooner or later because he wasn’t willing to shoot in this situation and the production also has to meet certain requirement. I believe, Ritvik and the production house, both are right at their places.
