Wedding trouble: Actor Avinash Sachdev roughs up media

News coming in suggests that actor Avinash Sachdev (Choti Bahu, Iss Pyaar Ko 2) has hit headlines again, and this time not for a good reason. Tellychakkar.com was first to inform readers about Avinash tying the knot with belle Shalmalee Desai on 12th of this month. Now the event of course raised media curiosity. Avinash all along tried to keep the venue of conjugal a secret but when people learnt that Avinash, Shalmalee and their friends were in Silvasa, Gujarat, team of reporters from popular TV channels went there to cover the event, much to the dislike of the actor. As per our sources, when team Aajtak and ABP news started filming the baarat on the streets, they were first roughed up by Avinash’s friends and then by the actor himself. Says a reporter from AajTak: “He is an actor and our viewers do want to know what’s happening in his life. Thus we went to cover his wedding. We tried getting permission from Avinash to shoot it, but did not. While filming the baarat, which was on the street, his friends came and told us to stop. They started bullying us and threatened to call the cops. They also asked us to hand over the camera and delete the content which was shot. When we denied, they went on to say that they will break the camera. Later Avinash came in and when we spoke to him, he told us to go away. He could have at least been nice to us. We were there for his fans, nothing personal.” Well, someone needs to take it easy. We dropped a text message to Avinash to learn his side of the story but he did not reply till the time of filing the article. Tellychakkar.com will soon come up with more updates. But what do you all have to say about the incident? Let us know in the comment section below or you can also tweet to us. Later Avinash texted us saying: "They barged in to my wedding for which I had clearly and politely told them, 'No Press' and then secretly tried to shoot my wedding baraat, which was a very cheap move on their part. Again me and my friends asked them to leave but they started arguing and they refused to leave, despite our polite request. Eventually the argument escalated. I had made it very clear from the start that it’s a close knit family and friends only affair. I never wanted any media attention or presence on my special day. Thanks...."
