TV’s favourite face Preetika Rao recently celebrated her birthday with her beloved fans.

The special day saw a great enthusiasm and excitement among her fans who had arranged a month-long birthday countdown on social media.

Tellychakkar.com had an exclusive chat with the actress to know more about her ideal birthday with her fans.

When we asked Preetika the gifts received from her loved ones and fans, she quipped, “This time the gifts came from different parts of the world. I got dress suits, perfume, body wash, nail paints, eye shadow kit, customized lamp shade, Buddha miniature statue, chocolates, jewellery, hand-made greeting cards and many lovely articles from India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Spain, Germany, South Africa, Turkey etc.”

She continued, “I was awestruck to see the number of gifts. Hats off to the fans who took so much effort to make their favourite actors feel so special. My Indonesian fans celebrated my birthday with orphan kids, which was a magnanimous gesture that touched my heart. My Turkey fans made video messages for me, while fans from Pakistan had #HappyBirthdayPreetikaRao trending on the eve of my big day.”

We wanted to find out where she would like to celebrate her dream birthday, she said, “It would be with my fans! However, I don't give importance to the location because I cannot think about an ideal birthday without my sister, immediate family and cousins being around me. Their availability and presence matter to me more than some faraway exotic venue. But if I have to choose one destination… it would be America because I have many cousins there.”

We prodded her about her birthday wish. “I think we wait too long to help others, we all feel that once we make enough money, we will give it to others. But the truth is that it doesn't take much to make somebody's day. This year, I intend to start a charity and carry it on throughout my life as it's always been on my wish list,” signed off Preetika.
