MUMBAI: Star Plus' popular drama series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is working wonders on the small screens. 

The show is running for more than a decade and it has become everyone's favorite in no time. 

Rajan Shahi has created another history as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one such show that has managed to impress the viewers constantly. 

The show is always at the top on the TRP charts. 

Well, we all know that the show has witnessed several leaps and new characters constantly made entries and exits.

So, let's take a look at the actors who quit Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai over the years: 

1. Hina Khan 

The actress was a part of the show for 7 long years and bid adieu in the year 2016. Hina became a household name for her character Akshara. 

2. Karan Mehra 

Karan played the lead role of Naitik in the daily soap and he was a part of YRKKH family for 9 years and quit the show in the year 2018. 

3. Mohsin Khan 

The handsome hunk became a household name for his role Kartik in the series and was a part of it for 5 years. Mohsin said goodbye to the show last year. 

4. Shivangi Joshi 

The pretty diva is still remembered for her character Naira/Sirat in the show. Shivangi entered the show with Mohsin and was a part of it for 5 years. Along with Mohsin, Shivangi also called it quits to the show last year.

5. Kanchi Singh 

The actress played the role of Gayatri in the show and was a part of it for a year. 

6. Rohan Mehra 

Rohan Mehra bid adieu to the show as he wanted to participate in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss season 10. 

7. Mohena Kumari

Mohena Kumari surprised everyone after she decided to leave Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai where she played the role of Keerti, Kartik's sister. The reason was her marriage. 

8. Deblina Chatterjee 

Deblina, who played the role of Gayu, quit the show after it witnessed a 5-year leap. The actress took the decision of quitting the show as she was not ready to play the role of a mother. 

9. Parul Chauhan 

Parul quit in April 2019 as she did not want to play a grandmother and was replaced by Niyati Joshi as Suvarna. 

10. Shilpa Raizada

Shilpa who played the role of Surekha Goenka in the show bid adieu last year after Mohsin and Shivangi quit Yeh Rishta. 

Well, the show recently witnessed a leap and a new star cast has been introduced. 

Harshad Chopda, Karishma Sawant, and Pranali Rathod are now playing the lead roles.
