Suave and sexy Rajeev Khandelwal is one actor who has zillions of female fans. Just drop his name and the fairer sex goes crazy. The talented actor with a difference is media shy but yet manages to hit the headlines frequently. He is again making news for his newly released movie Soundtrack. In the movie Rajeev plays the character of 26 year old aspiring musician from a small town in India who comes to the maximum city Mumbai with just three things- a guitar, a pair of head phones and a dream. The movie has been appreciated by critics all across. “I have been showered with appreciation and people have been reaching out to me after watching the film. I am really happy and excited to be a part of it,” beams Rajeev. We called Rajeev an actor with a difference as he didn’t resort to doing usual Bollywood formula movies to earn fame and money. He has always been part of movies that have not only entertained but struck the sensitive senses of the masses. Be it Aamir, Shaitan and now Soundtrack, he has always thrown in a performance to reckon with. “I think the definition of commercial movies has changed. My movies are not off-beat. They are very much commercial and have made producers happy. I do movies which excite me,” informs Rajeev. Rajeev’s next on the big screen is a movie called Raakh directed by Tanuja Chandra. He has already shot for it and it will be released sometime next year. Rajeev might be weaving magic on the celluloid but his love for TV remains intact and unconditional. He gained popularity through the spirited portrayal of Sujal in Balaji’s Kahin To Hoga. After that, he mesmerized the masses with his power-packed hosting of Sach Ka Saamna. The actor will be hosting the show’s second season as well. “I can’t divulge much about Sach Ka Saamna at this point of time. But I am certainly hosting it and my look will be changed in this season. Basic rules and regulations will be the same but yet there will be lots to look forward to,” said Rajeev. Spreading his wings, Rajeev has also entered into an association with National Geographic Channel. He is part of a show called Super Cars. “I am not hosting the show, I am just promoting it. I am the face of Super Cars. The moment I was approached by the channel I gave my nod as being associated with National Geographic is a prestigious thing.” For all the fans of Rajeev, he is celebrating his birthday this Sunday, 16 October, 2011. The actor doesn’t like to plan his birthday and likes to spend a quiet time with his loved ones. “It will be a quiet and busy day this birthday. Quiet as I will stay at home and busy because I will talk to all those who love me, including my fans,” ends Rajeev.
