MUMBAI: Sushant Singh Rajput’s death on June 14 left the entire nation in a state of shock. His family, friends, fans, as well as the whole film fraternity, were in disbelief after finding out about his untimely demise. Sushant was a brilliant actor, who started his acting career with television roles, before switching to Bollywood films. It was on the sets of Pavitra Rishta that he met Ankita Lokhande, and they fell in love. They dated for almost six years before calling it quits in 2016.

The time Sushant and Ankita spent together was truly special, and Ankita would often share love-filled posts of them together on her social media, with romantic captions. One of Ankita’s tweets from February 2016 shows an adorable picture of her with Sushant, and they can be seen looking happy in each other’s arms. The picture was clicked in a gorgeous snowy location, and sharing the picture, Ankita had the loveliest caption for it. She wrote a line from the song Kaun Tujhe from Sushant’s film MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
The tweet read, “Kaun tujhe yuh pyaar karega jaise main karti hu gugga .. Luv u so much baby.”
It was in 2016 that speculations about Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande’s breakup had surfaced on the Internet. In May 2016, Sushant had tweeted and confirmed that they aren’t together. His tweet had read, “Neither she was an alcoholic nor I am a womaniser . People do Growapart & its unfortunate. Period!!’
