MUMBAI: The television industry is replete with gossip and hard news about actors being a couple, dating or breaking up. While some are making it official by tying the knot, there are some who are parting ways. And somewhere between all of this, it seems that staying married is more newsworthy than getting married.

There are a lot of failed marriages in the industry. Two much in love couples who we never thought would part ways are suddenly calling it off as they don't 'feel' together anymore. There are even instances where couples are parting after a decade. Many have been wondering why our entertainers are unable to keep their homes except for the few who opted out for the sole reason of Domestic violence.

The recent example being that of Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh. There are reports that this most celebrated couple is headed for a separation after eight long years of matrimony. The news about Juhi Parmar and Sachin Shroff going separate ways was something unbelievable! For that matter we even have Raqesh Bapat and Riddhi Dogra!

There are some very common factors which do not workout in a marriage and lead to divorce. Below we have some psychologists and consultants giving their opinions on the same.

Dr. Neeraj Goyal shares, "The entertainment industry is a difficult business to be in and not all can survive. Actors shoot round the clock and somewhere it becomes difficult to prioritize the
relationship. Spending quality time together is very essential to make any marriage work."

Dr. Sumit Rao, said, "In marriage generally couples lives stay the same with a few minor adjustments. But that is not the same with celebrities. While they may have constant work, there are also chances and a time they would not have work or substantial projects to pull a lifestyle they have been living. Financial condition plays a crucial role in today's DNA age to make marriage a successful one."

There as also an opinion on how insecurities lead to a breakup. Dr. Nikunj Shah opines, "Insecurities have always been the root cause of a failed marriage. And for actors, this may be a very evident
factor as we have a very good looking industry. Every one is glamourous and the only thing which relationships survive on is unconditional trust and love for each other."

What are your thoughts on the same?
