Will Gumaan save Kumud from the infamous sleazy Chandi bazaar in Star Plus' Saraswatichandra?

Monica Bedi and Jennifer Winget
The love story of Kumud (Jennifer Wingett) and Saras (Gautam Rode) has never been an easy one in Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra (Sphere Origins). And in the coming days the going is set to get tougher. As seen so far, in her quest to find out the past of Gumaan (Monica Bedi), Kumud had gone to Chandi bazaar, a place where Gumaan lived her life as a courtesan before she got married to the rich Laxminandan (Chetan Pandit). After having collected the dirty secrets of Gumaan’s past, when Kumud was about to leave the place she was captured by the women there. Now, Kumud will be forced to perform as a courtesan. And with no means to escape from there, Kumud will be stuck at Chandi bazaar. Her cell phone would be taken away, leaving her no chance to connect with Saras. Informs a source, “What will make matters worse is that since Kumud had lied to Saras about her whereabouts, it will thus make it difficult for him to find her.” And the twist in the tale will come when Gumaan herself will get to know about Kumud. Sunanda, under whom Gumaan worked earlier, will call her up to tell her that her daughter-in-law has been held captive by them. She will also tell her that Kumud will now take her (Gumaan's) place in the bazaar. A shocked Gumaan will not know what to do. While on one hand, she will not want Kumud to come back (for she knows her secret), on the other the thought of Kumud leading the horrid life of a courtesan will disturb her. Will Gumaan help Kumud or will she take revenge on her? We tried reaching Monica and Jennifer but both of them remained unavailable for comment.
