MUMBAI: An incident of intense humiliation on her engagement night could not break Kanchan’s strength or determination to fight for her love and the respect of the royal family. Insulted and misunderstood once by them, Kanchan (Shivani Tomar) found a way to make inroads into not just the family’s hearts, but also the position of a daughter-in-law to Vishesh’s (Rahul Sharma) mother. Celebrating the happiness of the most unpredictable marriage, the ‘Rajgharana’ of Mathura in &TV’s Mitegi Lakshman Rekha is all set to light up and welcome the new bride in the house, Kanchan.

Following the glorious traditions of a typical Indian wedding, Kanchan is all set to leave a part of her past behind and step ahead to begin a new journey with the man of her dreams. Little does she know, that the past she wishes to run away from, will continue to follow her and constantly remind her of the incident that left her scarred. Witnessing yet another unpleasant surprise, Kanchan once again sees herself taken back to the most haunted scene that occurred in her life three years ago. On one hand we see that Kanchan struggles to come to terms with the fact that the culprit is none other than someone from the ‘Rajgharana’ house. On the other hand, Vishesh’s family member, Saurabh who shares an unknown and secretive relation with Kanchan, will be seen taking all the necessary measures to keep his deep secret away from Kanchan and his family. Taking the help of Vishesh and Devyani, Kanchan will be seen keeping a sharp eye out to find the culprit during the wedding ceremony.
