MUMBAI : Naagin 5 has begun and how!

The speculations about the actors and story line have been doing the rounds way before the season started. The season 5 had a grand start with Hina Khan, Mohit Malhotra and Dheeraj Dhoopar starting off the show with great spirit.

TellyChakkar.com got in touch with Surbhi Chandana who plays the prime character of Bani (Adi Naagin)  in the show and spoke at length about her character and the franchise. On being asked about Hina Khan starting off the show as Naagin, she said, “Hina has done a splendid job. She looked very beautiful in the look. I loved the buzz that was doing the rounds at that time with people speculating about the show and its story-line. I believe Hina, Mohit and Dheeraj have done a smashing job which has in turn put up a lot of responsibility on myself, Mohit Sehgal and Sshard Malhotra, and we hope to live up to the expectations of the audience. I wish to share screen space with Hina Khan for Naagin 5 in future, I don’t know if that would happen or know but I’d love to shoot with her.”

Expressing her thoughts on Hina Khan, Surbhi said, “Hina is such an established face, everyone wants to cast her and she kick-starts the show in itself is a big deal. We haven’t met on the sets as of course we didn’t have any scenes together but whenever we’ve met at events or on award functions, she has been very encouraging and lovely. She texted me saying that it is surely a tough project to do but I’d sail through it is what she believes.”
