MUMBAI: Aasiya Kazi is one of the most well-known actresses on the small screen. 

The stunning diva has been in the showbiz world for a very long time. 

Aasiya made her small screen debut with Imagine TV's Bandini. The show was bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms. 

Bandini also starred Ronit Roy in the lead role, and he was paired opposite Aasiya. 

Fans were simply in love with Aasiya and Ronit's on-screen pair.

Well, we all know that a lot of producers are coming up with sequels of hit shows. 

Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Sasural Simar Ka, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2, and Pavitra Rishta 2.0 among others already proved to be a huge hit. 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Aasiya was asked if she would like to feature in Bandini Season 2. 

The actress had an amazing response to it and said, ''Of course, I would do it without thinking about it. I was associated with the show for a long time period. I know everything about my character. There is a comfort zone as well as a challenge being an actor on what freshness you bring to make that character hit. It will be fun taking up the same character and presenting it in a different way.''

She further added, ''Bandini will always be special for me. I used to think a lot of times that many shows are getting their sequel then why not Bandini. However, I want the same star cast. Sometimes, sequels are made but with a different cast. But I feel that when the star cast is the same, it becomes quite interesting. That is actually called a sequel in the true sense.''

Well, Aasiya has definitely got a point!

Aasiya has previously starred in shows like Matti Ki Banno, Dharampatni, Hitler Didi, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2, Balika Vadhu, and Tenali Rama.
