MUMBAI: After veteran actor Puneet Issar was roped in to play an important role in Choti Sarrdaarni, actress Vibha Chibber has been finalised to play his wife on the show. 

Vibha said, “I have been in talks with the makers of Choti Sarrdaarni for almost a week and things were finalised yesterday. They have told me that they are shooting in a bio-bubble. No one is allowed to step out and outsiders aren’t allowed to enter the premises.”.

Ask her if she is comfortable with shooting in the current scenario and she said, “I am currently in Rajkot shooting for Tera Yaar Hoon Main. It’s a cameo appearance. I am here for a month and will be returning to Mumbai on June 3. Several artistes are sitting at home. In such a scenario, if I am being approached for work, then I would take it up. I will follow all precautions and protocols. Everyone wants to work, be it the artiste, the maker, or the broadcaster. Sab precautions le rahe hain. We need to act responsibly and carefully. While I am not scared, I am not careless either. I will do everything possible to stay safe and ensure that everyone around me is safe, too.”.

The actress admits that while her family is worried about her stepping out for work, they don’t discourage her from working. She shared, “They are not fine with me travelling for work. My son (actor Puru Chibber) always tells, ‘Agar aap ghar mein rahogi toh shayad beemar padd jaogi!’ Being an actor himself, he understands how passionate I am for my craft, but my daughter and daughter-in-law keep telling me to wash my hands regularly and inhale steam. My family is concerned about my health, but they don’t discourage me from working. I don’t decline good work unless and until there are major issues. That’s my approach towards my work.”.
