MUMBAI:    Dancer/choreographer, Nishant Bhat is back on the TV screens as a contestant on the popular dance reality TV show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 10. He is very excited and is going to be giving his all in his performances. As we approach Diwali, the star shares his excitement for the festival in an interview. He also shares about his rehearsal schedules which will be keeping him occupied.

“Rehearsals are what is going to keep me busy. I have come back to dancing after two years so it’s sure taking a toll on me and my body. So, as of now the plans are to rehearse and obviously will spend time with my family and close friends,” he said.

When he was asked if he believes in gifting or getting gifts during Diwali, he said, “I don’t wait for an occasion to gift people. I always end up gifting my friends and family throughout the year because that's also a way of me showing them that I do care about them. And as of receiving gifts, who would ever say no to that?”

The Bigg Boss fame dancer is not too fond of bursting firecrackers during the festival and believes in a sound and pollution-free free Diwali. “No fireworks for me. I don’t believe that contributing to sound and air pollution and bothering stay animals is a way of celebrating a festival. Mithai Khao, card khelo, have good food, that’s enough.”

Nishant also shared what Diwali means to him, “Diwali has always been a time to spend with my friends and family. We all run through busy schedules so it’s that time when we meet, celebrate and make good memories.”

He was also asked if he has anything new/exciting planned for Diwali this year, to which he said, “I am going to move into my new apartment. So that’s the excitement right now mixed with the excitement to celebrate Diwali.”

The dancer shared a special message for fans, as Diwali nears, saying, “I wish you all a very Happy Diwali. Stay happy, stay safe and make memories. And don’t forget to vote for me on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.”

Nishant Bhat is a choreographer by profession and has entertained people with his dancing talent by participating in many dance TV reality shows. He was a participant in Bigg Boss OTT as well.
