MUMBAI: Athletes lead a disciplined life and work hard throughout the year to participate in various sports events. Talking about the Tokyo Olympics, several women athletes have already done well and made India proud.

And talking about the symbol of Olympics, it has five rings, which represent the five continents of the world. They are five interlocking rings in five different colours, blue, yellow, black, green and red. They are known as the ‘Olympic rings’.

Time and again, we have seen sports stars flaunting the symbol in their own style. In the recent times, several women athletes of Indian were seen flaunting the ‘Olympic rings’ in cool and interesting way. Take a look below.

PV Sindhu: A recipient of the sports honour Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna, the pretty lady made her international debut in 2009. She is the first Indian to become the Badminton World Champion. The shuttler who bagged a silver in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games is the perfect example of beauty with brains. She has a huge fan following. PV Sindhu is pretty active on social media. She regularly shares glimpses from her personal and professional lives to update fans and followers about her whereabouts.

Recently, PV Sindhu had taken to her Instagram handle and shared a lovely picture. In the picture, she flaunted her Olympic-nail-design. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “#olympicfever #10daystogo #tokyo2021” PV Sindhu has qualified for the women's singles in Tokyo Olympics and fans have high hopes from her. 

Saikhom Mirabai Chanu: Mirabai is currently the talk of the town for all the amazing reasons. She has done amazing at the Tokyo Olympics. She won a silver in women's weightlifting (49 kg).

While her win has been garnering praises from all corners, her Olympic ring-shaped earring also caught everyone’s attention. She received the thoughtful gift from her mother. Talking about the same, she shared with Times of India, “I wanted a symbol of Olympics with me as a constant reminder of my goal. I wanted an Olympic medal and I wanted that to remain with me always. So, when my mother told me she wanted to give me a chain, I told her to give me earrings instead. I don't like chains much. Lifting me problem karte hain. I love these earrings. Even after I lost in Rio, I kept them on because I wanted to have a reminder of what I was training for."
