MUMBAI: The episode begins with Arijit calling the police. They come to investigate who is claiming Raman to be her husband. Ishita and the Bhallas get angry at Arijit for unnecessarily calling the police. Natasha gains consciousness and tells the police that this man is Shardul. She asks them to check with Borivali Police Station as she had lodged a complaint there when Shardul went missing. Karan is furious at Arijit for aggravating the matter. Yug controls him and takes him to his room. Karan tells Yug, Aliya and Ruhi that he knew Arijit was going to do something like this because of which he didn’t want him to be invited. Yug asks him to calm down and thinks maybe Natasha’s husband does resemble Raman. Aliya suggests to find the hospital she was getting her treatment at to know more about the issue. 

While the police record Natasha’s statement, Yug and Karan take her brother with them outside to ask about what hospital was she in. Arijit sees them and gets paranoid if they get to know about the hospital they would find out Neeti eventually. He interrupts them and grabs Natasha’s brother by his collar and begins to fight with him. Everyone hears them fight and come outside. The police intervenes and warns them. As they go inside, Karan gets agitated and asks Arijit why did he interrupt them when they were peacefully talking to Natasha’s brother. He blames him for deliberately doing all of this. Yug and Raman calm him down and apologise to Arijit.
 

Later, the police confirm Natasha’s statement as they found her missing complaint. Raman defends himself and says that it still doesn’t prove that he is Shardul. The police officer then shows him the wedding photo Natasha had submitted. The whole family gets shocked looking at the photo where Raman and Natasha are getting married. Ishita accuses Natasha of morphing the photos but the police confirm that they are real. Raman gets furious and repeatedly says that he is Raman Bhalla and not Shardul. After a while, he faints out of stress. Ishita takes Raman to his room. Santoshi asks Ishita to leave with Raman immediately as she fears someone would take him away again. Ishita tells her that she will prove Raman’s identity. She gets the medical papers and shows it to the police. The police tell Natasha that the papers confirm that Raman has undergone plastic surgery. 

Sudha had already called the doctor who was treating Raman. He arrives there and as the police questions him he denies to have performed the surgery. The Bhallas are extremely shocked with the doctor’s denial. Arijit immediately overreacts and accuses Ishita of betraying everyone by calling a stranger her husband. Yug angrily goes to hit Arijit but Karan stops him. Ruhi also lashes out at Arijit for saying such demeaning things about Ishita. The police calms them down and then the doctor says that he didn’t perform the surgery but his senior did. Natasha refuses to believe the doctor. The police ask for the senior surgeon’s number but the doctor tells him that his senior is on a spiritual retreat where phone connectivity is very poor so they won’t be able to contact him. The police tells Natasha that she cannot claim Raman since it has not been proven that he is Shardul. She is still adamant so Ishita snaps and suggests her to stay at their house and see for herself if Raman is Shardul
