Star Plus' Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is well recieved by its audiences who not only love the onscreen characters but also keeps a tab on the offscreen lives and bonds of their favourite actors.

We quizzed Yeh Rishta actress Vaishnavi Rao, who plays Mansi in the show, about her equation with ex-co-actor Abhishek Nigam. Vaishnavi and Abhishek have been giving their fans a cuteness overdose with their adorable posts and videos on social media, thus leading to a lot of speculation about them being a couple. 

When TellyChakkar asked her about the same, the pretty actress said, 'Abhishek is one of the few friends I have in the industry. We are pretty thick and he is my confidant, but we’re not dating each other.' Vaishani later added, 'It's pretty difficult to stay in contact with your co-actor after the show, but Abhishek and I have always stood by each other. He is one of my first friends from the industry.'

When we asked her about the possibility of dating Abhishek in the future, she said, 'It's too soon to answer that, as we’re very young.'
