MUMBAI: The episode begins with Kartik overhearing the conversation between Mrs Scindia and Mihir Kapoor. He starts feeling insecure because his designs were tagged loud and mediocre, while Naira's creations were called classy and exclusive.

Mrs Scindia's remarks resonate in Kartik's ears. When Naira comes running towards him to express her joy after all her designs get selected, he seems lost in his thoughts. Naira thanks Kartik for boosting her moral and pushing her to pursue her dreams. But Kartik doesn't react the way he usually does. Naira senses he is troubled by something and wonders why he looks lost.

Later in the day, Naira prepares cheesecake for Kartik and pays a surprise visit to his office where he is preoccupied with his work. Kartik has asked his team to modify the designs made by him by incorporating modern trends.

When Kartik doesn't show much interest in having the cheesecake made by Naira, she gets up to leave, but he holds her hand to give her a surprise. To make her happy, he cuts the cake, and the two make the most of the moment.

The next morning, Kartik seems disinterested in joining the family for a get-together, but Naira insists he must join everyone. The family organises a mango-eating competition, and the players are expected to have as many mangoes as possible in one go.

Naira wins the contest, thereby making Kartik feel insecure once again. Kartik draws a parallel between Naira's win in the contest to her success in jewellery designing.

He walks away from the garden area after getting haunted by insecurity. He tries to convince himself by saying his designs are good enough and there is no need to feel lowly.
