MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata is one of the highest grossing shows on Indian Television. The show is one of the longest running one and has a huge fan following among the audiences too. 

The show's lead pair Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi have been a super-hit jodi ever since the show began. The audience went into a deep shock when the makers decided to kill Shivangi's character Naira and introduce Sirat instead. They couldn't imagine the show without their favorite 'kaira'. 

But now as the show commenced further viewers have widely accepted Kartik-Sirat's jodi and shower praises each time they share screen. The ongoing track of the show has been quite dramatic after the kidnapping of Akshu. Now that Akshu is back the whole family is overjoyed and celebrations have begun. 

Seems the happiness is short-lived for Mohsin's character Kartik as a new entrant in the form of Sirat's ex-lover is going to turn the tables. 

Television's superstar Karan Kundra is soon going to mark his entry in the show as 'Ranveer' and that's when the real drama will start.  

Recently, Karan Kundra opened up about his character on the show and why he took up 'Ranveer's character: 

Karan Kundra says, “My character Ranveer will affect the relationship between Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and Sirat (Shivangi Joshi). I decided to accept this role, because it is different in many ways. My character has a lot of layers. And earlier I have just done romantic characters, so this is not just a romantic character, there are many aspects and many shades to his personality which will come out as the show progresses. With this show, i will be back on TV after a gap of sometime. When YRKKH was offered to me, it was too good an opportunity to refuse because obviously Rajan Shahi is one of the biggest Producers in the Television industry and this show is the most  successful show on Star Plus and TV, so there was really no reason to say no." 

Well, we couldn't agree more with Karan and it would be interesting to see how the tables turn upon his entry to the show.
