MUMBAI: The episode sees how Kairav overhears Naira's conversation with Naksh while Vedika struggles with the past. Later, Naira's surprising decision leaves Kartik speechless. Kartik tells Naira to proceed towards the court, as the case was in the court and absconding the hearing would be of no help. To Naira’s dismay, Kartik failed to accept her request and leaves for the court. Kartik comes and tells Damini to make sure that she ends the case in this hearing. Kartik warns Damini not to misbehave with Naira in this hearing and tells her not to make her feel uncomfortable. Seeing Kartik brief Damini, Naksh tells Naira not to propose to give Kartik Kairav’s custody, as they would lose the case. 

The hearing starts and Mr. Kumar apologizes from Naira’s side, as she had left the hearing in between. Damini takes over and seek permission for continuing the previous day’s conversation. The judge gives permission and Damini continues to accuse Naira. She tells the court about Naira’s irresponsible behaviour and to Kartik’s disappointment, continues to put allegation on Naira. Damini tries to intimidate Naira and makes everyone believe that Naira was not a good mother to Kairav. She tells the court that Kairav had tried to run away in order to stay with his father while he was living with Naira in Goa and aims at Naira for not being able to handle her child. 

Kartik gets infuriated at Damini’s allegation as she humiliated Naira and continued to make her feel uncomfortable. Not being able to control, Kartik lashes out at Damini and takes a stand at the witness box. He tells everyone how Naira was ready to give Kairav’s custody to him, as she wanted to safe guard her child’s interest. Kartik also tells everyone that while he was only thinking about winning the case, Naira was thinking about her child’s state of mind when he would come to know about their fight and not wanting to impact his childhood in any manner, was ready to let Kairav stay with Kartik. Kartik defends Naira and apologizes to her for his mistakes. He also requests the court to grant the sole custody of Kairav to Naira, as she was not only a good human being but also the best mother his child could have got. Naira breaks down at Kartik’s statement and tells him about the reason she had to consider aborting Kairav.
