MUMBAI: The episode sees how Vedika reveals her real intention. She proves that the Goenkas did wrong by giving shelter to her because she 'barters' her kidney for Kartik. Yes, you read that right. Vedika goes to the extent of telling Kartik that he cannot meet Naira without her consent. Read on to know how the episode of the show starring Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi in the lead roles unfolded.

The story resumes from the scene that shows Naira asking Kartik to hold her hand, but he refuses to do so, stating that the doctor has asked him to maintain a distance from the patient. Kartik lands in a dilemma after seeing Vedika gesturing him not to get close to Naira. But in the end, Kartik listens to his heart and rushes to Naira's side to comfort her. Naira feels relieved after holding Kartik's hand but wonders why Vedika is hospitalised. And when he decides to narrate the truth to her, Dr Pallavi enters the ward and asks Kartik to leave. She also tells him that only one family member will be allowed to visit the duo for five minutes. Both Naira and Kartik wonder why such a condition is being put.

As days pass, the Goenkas and the Singhanias gear up to welcome Naira and Vedika respectively. The Goenakas are excited to welcome Naira while the Singhanias look forward to hosting Vedika.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Naira and Vedika get ready to return home. When a nurse visits Vedika's ward, she accidentally drops the discharge papers on the floor. Pallavi scolds her and asks her not to do anything without her consent. Elsewhere, Naira overhears the nurse talking to one of her colleagues about Pallavi and Vedika. Naira gets suspicious after knowing that Vedika wasn't given glucose after surgery which is mandatory after an operation. She also learns that Vedika was given a mild dose of injection ahead of the surgery.

A while later, when the Goenkas wait outside their villa to welcome Naira, they get shocked to see Vedika getting off Kartik's car. Everyone gets disappointed and wonder why Naira hasn't returned. Kairav, who had been eagerly waiting for his mother, gets upset. He runs inside the house with Vansh to make a call to Naira.

In the meantime, Kartik tells Suhasini that Vedika is the daughter-in-law of the house. Hence, Naira has returned to her home, i.e. Singhania Sadan. Suhasini slams Vedika after realising that she had not donated her kidney but traded it. She knows that her grandson can never do wrong to Naira. Kartik intervenes to defend Vedika as he is bound by the promise made to her.

And after seeing her fear manifesting into reality, Suhasini tells her family that she doubted Vedika's intentions, not for nothing. As the scene shifts to Singhania Sadan, Naksh, Devyani and Kaveri wonder why Naira didn't go to Goenka Villa. Meanwhile, Vedika sternly tells Kartik that he cannot meet Naira. However, she says that she would accompany him if at all, a need arises.
