MUMBAI: Actor Sanjeev Seth is an immensely talented artist.

He has been a part of various television projects in the likes of Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani, Karishma Kaa Karishma, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ek Thi Rani Ek Tha Raavan and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke among a host of other shows. He has also been a part of dance reality show Nach Baliye 6.

Well, the actor has played different shades in his character roles and now, Sanjeev is headed towards setting foot in Bollywood movie Maharaj introducing Aamir Khan’s son Junaid.

The film is backed by Yash Raj Films and is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra. The film is based on a true incident from 1862 and with Junaid having a theatre background, the actor has prepared a lot for his role and made sure he fits the bill. The film is based on Jadunathji Brijratanji Maharaj who was a religious leader who had dragged reformer-journalist Karsandas Mulji to court, as he had penned down a “libellous” article. Junaid Khan will play the role of Mulji and we’re quite curious to watch Aamir Khan’s son in this one!

As for Sanjeev, he was an integral part of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and was last seen in the spin off of the show on Star Plus titled Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke starring Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma in the lead roles.
