MUMBAI: TellyChakkar has been at the forefront of reporting about Edit II Productions’ new offering centring around their popular character from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, Happu Singh (read here: &TV to launch a new show on Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai’s ‘Happu Singh’ titled Happu Ke Chappu).
The show was initially titled Happu Ke Chappu. However, it is now tentatively called Saiyyanji Duty Pe Hai.
The show revolves around Happu Singh and his problems.
The latest update is that Ye Unn Dinon Ki Baat Hai fame Sanjay Chaudhry will also be seen in the show. In addition, actress Kamna Pathak will be seen playing the character of Happu’s wife.
A close source has also informed us that child actors Arnav Tata and Somya Azad will also be seen in the show as Happu’s sons.
According to sources, the show is set to hit television screens by the mid of February.
Aryan Prajapati and Himani Shivpuri have also been locked to play interesting characters in the show.
