The media is already abuzz with news that Zee TV’s underperforming show Hitler Didi is up for a giant sequential leap to bring in fresh audiences. Now we have confirmed news that the above leap will be of 18 years. According to a source, this change, which will hit screens post IPL (mid May), has set off big flurry of action in the show’s cast. Certain actors who are not comfortable playing older characters are thinking of moving out. Smita Singh (Sunaina) says, “I have given my notice as I can’t convincingly play a 50/ 60 year old lady.” There is also a buzz that Sandeep Baswana (Munna) might also move out, but the news is not confirmed yet. Here our khabru adds that the lead actress Rati Pandey is also not comfortable playing mother (Indira) but would not have any problem playing the grown up Indu. When we got in touch with Rati she said, “Nothing has been decided yet. I cannot comment on such issue so early.” Aasiya Kazi who has just entered the show said that “she has no clue about the period of the leap.” “If and when it happens I will look at my character graph and then take a call,” further added Aasiya.
