Wonders kids of Indian TV in 2015

Kids are taking the small screen by storm. From their feisty acting to their confident screen presence, these little wonders sure know how to keep us entertained. There’s a new kid joining the illustrious gang every other day. Perhaps it’s because kids lend a unique charm to the daily tales. We list out five of our favourite baccha log from the industry…read on:

Siddharth Nigam (Mahakumbh/Ashoka):

Now what do we say about this bright young talent on TV. The dashing Siddharth Nigam not just impressed us with his dynamic personality in Mahakumbh, he is currently carrying the magnum opus show Ashoka in his able yet young shoulder. The national level gymnast has already worked in a YRF film, and we can only expect more from this hero!

Ruhana Khanna (Gangaa):

This simpleton beauty mesmerised all with her power packed performance in Gangaa, playing the lead role. The social drama that focuses on young widows connected with the masses with the endearing Ruhana playing the role to the ‘T’.  She also managed to garner quite a number of awards for her role, one being from the house of the 14th Indian Telly Awards.

Ishant Bhanushali (Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman):

Even though the kid already has some experience of TV, playing a titular character is never easy. His spirited performance, coupled with his adorable screen presence make him one of the sweetest TV stars of today. He imbibes the quirky traits of Chota Hanuman to the T. He might just become the toast of small screen soon.

Spandan Chaturvedi (Udaan):

As the poor yet talented kiddo, Spandan aka Chakor has set a fine example for kids around the country. The kind-hearted Chakor with big dreams in her eyes faces many a hurdle but overcomes those with her grit and practicality. We love her terrific acting and expressive eyes. Bollywood, here’s you actress-in-the-making!

Vishesh Bansal (Suryaputra Karn):

Playing one of the most debated characters of Mahabharata isn’t a cakewalk. But Vishesh breezes through it like a pro. May be it’s because of his extensive experience or just that he’s a natural…we wouldn’t know! But the kid sure makes Karn look damn good. We can’t wait to see what he’s going to do next, can you?

Ruhaanika Dhawan (Yeh hai Mohabattein):

The kid who brought her morose father and her favourite ‘Ishi maa’ together in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein should obviously be applauded. Apart from her chirpy energy on the show, she also gives the scenes an innocent twist in her own endearing ways. Perhaps that’s what makes her such a favorite with the ladies? Are we hearing a collective awww?

Dev Joshi (Baalveer):

Playing a superhero is every kid’s dream. But it’s Dev Joshi who’s living it up as the incredibly blessed Baalveer in the show of the same name. He makes the evil paris squirm and takes on the bad influences with a vengeance. It also helps that he is so cute and people-friendly!
