MUMBAI: It was the season of love in October 2021, when the heart wrenching song “Tu Hai Wahi” was released. The song featured Shezali Sharma & Abhiishek Mohta as the main leads. 

Shezali Sharma who is known for “The Rally” (Bollywood Movie, 2017) has been a part of TV shows like Jamaai Raja on Zee5, Gumrah on Channel V, Tujhse Naraz Nahi Zindagi on &TV, and Pyar Tune Kya Kiya Season 4 on Zing TV.

Abhiishek Mohta has been credited as an Associate Creative Head for the Color’s Tv mythology show named, Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2019) where he was also handling the Casting Department.

Apart from that, Abhiishek has worked for Production houses like Essel Vision Production (for Shiv Puran) & Alt Balaji’s Blackwood for initial days.

Abhiishek has been a Casting Director for many ADs, Short movies and Music albums as well.

Abhiishek Mohta has assisted the award-winning writer, Aryan Saha, from August 2017 to Feb 2018. 

Aryan Saha has won the Best Screenplay Award for the movie “Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain”(2017)  with Harish Vyas in the 8th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival.

Abhiishek considers Mr. Nikhil Dwivedi as his mentor. Mr Dwivedi is an actor and producer. In 2018, he co-produced his first film Veere Di Wedding with Ekta Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. It was followed by Dabangg 3 (2019) which was co-produced by Salman Khan.

In 2020, he made his comeback as an actor after a six-year hiatus, he appeared in Sony LIV original series Scam 1992 directed by Hansal Mehta.

He is a big inspiration for Abhiishek as he showed him the path of his dreams and guided him to find what he truly wants. Abhiishek even gives Mr. Dwivedi the credit for all the confidence and personality that he has developed over time due to his guidance.

In 2019, Abhiishek was on the list of India's Top 10 Contemporary Romance Authors for his book named “Once Upon Us”. 

Speaking of the song, “Tu Hai Wahi” showcases the gut wrenching story of the protagonists by oscillating between the past and the present, as the video begins in the present and takes the audience back to the times where the main leads were still a budding, young love.

The heart-moving lyrics paired with the euphonious tune has garnered a lot of attention from the youth. The lyric video on youtube has crossed over 1 lakh views since its release in October.
Abhiishek is expected to be seen in the upcoming bollywood movie "Icecream 2" which will be directed by Nikky Batra. 

Nikky Batra, dance director, and choreographer in Hindi movies like Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Raja Hindustani, Humraaz, has directed some of the well-known Rajasthani Movies. 

Abhiishek Mohta revealed that director Nikky Batra has once offered him a Rajasthani Movie named Rakshak as Lead Actor, which Abhiishek politely denied as he was looking for something better.

But this time, when Nikky offered him a Parallel Lead role for the Bollywood Movie Ice Cream 2, Abhiishek showed his interest.
