MUMBAI: After the recent announcement of Abhishek Verma debuting in the digital world, it’s now supermodel Anuj Singh Duhan’s turn to make his digital debut in ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s recently launched love drama Baarish season 2. Anuj will be seen portraying the role of Rakesh, a very ambitious, shrewd, and unscrupulous businessman who is good at bribing and influencing his way through to cover his illegal deeds.

All set to make his acting debut, an elated Anuj quipped, “Looking at the success and popularity of the first season, I have been really excited about the launch of the show as I am marking my digital debut with Baarish 2. With expectations from the audience at an all-time high, I’m happy that my character is built in such a way that it adds to the drama in the show. Filled with a lot of twists and turns, I am delighted to be a part of the second season and I’m sure it will turn out to be a big hit. With the entire team putting in their best efforts, I am looking forward to it and I hope the audience likes it too.”

An unusual tale between a middle-class girl and a rich businessman, Baarish embraces the roller coaster of emotions in life which will strike the right chords with viewers who root for love. The story continues from where the first season concluded, with viewers are in eager anticipation to know what happens to Anuj and Gauravi. Starring a talented ensemble, that includes Priya Banerjee, Vikram Singh Chauhan, Manit Joura, Muni Jha, Abhishek Verma, Shubhangi Latkar, Sahil Shroff, Sheetal Tiwari, and Poulomi Das, it remains to be seen if the rain and love will once again play a key role in getting Anuj and Gauravi back together.
