MUMBAI: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is the darling of critics and has a following for his unique style of writing and characterizations, is returning with a brand new film. It is called Chocked: Paisa Bolta Hai. 

Anurag Kashyap was last seen directing a segment of Netflix original series Ghost Stories. The previous full-fledged directorial attempt from him was Mannmarziyan that came way back in 2018. It has been a long wait even though he has been making his presence felt through the digital medium. He has been involved in the blockbuster series Sacred Games for Netflix.

Choked: Paisa Bolta Hai looks like the full-fledged solo effort from Anurag Kashyap after a gap. It stars Saiyami Kher and Roshan Mathew. It is set in a middle-class world where Saiyami Kher plays a housewife. What happens when she finds money flowing out of her kitchen sink every night, and how it changes her life is presented as the official premise. 

A poster has been unveiled by Netflix announcing the project along with its arrival. Chocked: Paisa Bolta Hai will stream on Netflix from June 5th. The fans are eager to see if Anurag Kashyap returns to his vintage form with it. Well, we can’t wait for it either. A teaser coming out soon will give us a better idea.
