MUMBAI: Looks like ardent fans will flock to the sets and stand in line for hours to have a glimpse of Bhuvan Bam. Since February, the internet sensation-turned-actor has been filming in Mumbai for the upcoming second season of Taaza Khabar.

Director Himank Gaur then carried out night shots at a Vile Parle ground and Film City in Goregaon, while filming was starting in Colaba. As per the popular news portal, fans flocked to the sets in hopes of seeing Bam.

A source said, “On each location, there were instances of disruptions caused by Bhuvan’s admirers. During the shoot in Goregaon, they had blocked the entrance to the venue, which posed a problem for the unit that wanted to go about their workday. After that episode, the team amped up the security to ensure that filming was not disrupted again.”

The source adds that to ensure a smooth shoot, Bam would address his fans before he faced the camera, obliging their requests for photos and autographs.

Bam's time-traveling protagonist will be the focus of the second season of the Disney+ fantasy comedy Hotstar. To avoid crowds, the team is not disclosing the specifics of the shot going forward. However, Bam sees the incident as an expression of the audience's love.

The actor said, “I am overwhelmed by the love and support of my fans. Their enthusiasm is what drives me to deliver my best on screen.”
