MUMBAI: Many TV and Bollywood actors have been exploring the OTT space, and starring in interesting web series and web movies. Atrangi App’s next Johri has been making the headlines for the past few days because of the casting.
TellyChakkar has always been at the forefront of bringing exclusive news from the world of entertainment, and now, we have got an update about the cast of the web series. Actor Himayat Ali has been roped in to star in Johri.

Himayat Ali has played pivotal roles in movies like Sarfarosh, Thakshak, Gumnaam: The Mystery, Bhoot Unkle, Kissebaaz, and others. It will be interesting to see what role the actor will be playing in Johri.
Johri is produced by Endemol Shine and Simmi Karna’s Continwum Films. The web series stars Nishant Malkani and Charu Asopa in the lead roles and it is directed by Patho Mitra. The shooting of the series started a few days ago, and while announcing the project, Atrangi App posted, “Happy to announce that our thirty-six-episode drama series Johri has gone on the floor. Here is wishing all the best to Nishant Malkhani, Charu Asopa, and the team @asopacharu @nishantsinghm_official.”
