MUMBAI: On 11th June 2021 Zee5 brought to us an amazing series named ‘Sunflower’ featuring Sunil Grower, Ashish Vidyarthi, Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Mukul Chadda and many more. The series was directed by Vikas Bahl, Rahul Sengupta and Navin Gujral.

The season revolved around a quirky murder mystery in a housing society called Sunflower and a simpleton resident Sonu dives headlong into a murder mystery, ending up becoming the chief suspect.

Now the series has come back with a second season and this time a new member in the society has been introduced who is Rosie, played by Adah Sharma. Now this time the craziness has gone a level higher and the audience is excited to watch Sunil Grover as Sonu.

Team Tellychakar got in touch with Adah Sharma and got into a conversation with her, where she gave some interesting details when asked about the response for season 1 of Sunflower, what made her agree to play the character and much more.

Tell us about your character?

On this, Adah Sharma said that we should just wait and watch the show to know about the character. However, giving hints about it, Adah Sharma said that the character appears to be that of a bar dancer but nobody knows if that’s her true identity.

What does she think about season 1 and what made her say ‘Yes’ for the character in season 2?

On talking about the first season of the show, Adah Sharma said that she feels it was a brilliant and unique show and the way every character was written, it was very weird, eccentric and very entertaining. Even in a serious situation, creating humour and making people laugh is not an easy task. When talking about the character and reaction to it, she said that the question should be why the makers said ‘Yes’ to her. She added that it must be because they watched her in The Kerala Story and were so impressed that they decided to cast her.
