MUMBAI: Isha Koppikar is no doubt one of the most loved and followed actresses in Bollywood. She has created a strong mark in the hearts and minds of fans with her talent and dance moves. The actress is currently getting an amazing response for her recently released web series, Dahanam. 

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, this is what she had to say on Dahanam and her character in the show.

Isha Koppikar says that indeed, the trailer received an amazing response from fans, and they were curious to know what will happen in the web series. Isha Koppikar will be seen playing a cop in the show, no doubt she has played a cop earlier, but it is the script that is completely different. This is the vision of one of the finest filmmakers, Ram Gopal Varma. Isha adds her character is inspired by real-life cop Anjali Sinha.

Isha Koppikar says that she tried to Google the name Anjali Sinha, but there was very less information about her. Having said that  the show is not a biopic. Only the events have been taken for the web series, so she used cinematic liberty to improvise her character accordingly.

Isha Koppikar on her dream project

No doubt we have seen amazing projects of hers. The actress said that she is hungry for good roles and good stories. She says that she just loves flirting with the camera, and her first love is acting. She is rarely seen in movies and says that she has recently been rejected around 40 movies, because she does not want to do them just for the sake of it. She is looking forward to some good and relevant subjects.
