MUMBAI: When it comes to playing the role of Anarkali, the first actress that comes to our mind is Madhubala who portrayed the character beautifully in the film Mughal-E-Azam. After many years, now, in the web series Taj: Divided by Blood, Aditi was seen playing the role of Anarkali recently and she received positive reviews for her performance in it. 

Today, a grand event was organized to celebrate the success of season 1 of Taj: Divided by Blood and announce the season 2. At the event, while talking about playing the role of Anarkali and being compared to veteran actress Madhubala, Aditi said, "There has been so much love that has come my way, and I am convinced that there are some blessings from her. That's all I want to say."

In season 1, Anarkali dies, and Aditi at the event hinted that she won't be seen in season 2. She stated that she was there at the event to support the team for season 2. We are sure fans of Aditi will miss her in season 2 of the series. 

The trailer of season 2 has been launched and Aashim Gulati is simply amazing in it. It will start streaming on Zee5 on 12th May 2022.

Talking about other projects of Aditi Rao Hydari, the actress will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's web series Heeramandi. The first look of the series has been released and Aditi is looking gorgeous in it. The premiere date of Heermandi is not yet announced.
