MUMBAI: Ajay Dutt always tries to do something different in his projects. The actor, who is known for his contribution in projects like Skyfire, Aapke Aa Jane Se, and Breakfast in Bangalore, has also featured in 107 television ads for over 80 brands. He has worked across languages and platforms.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with Ajay with regard to his acting journey and the characters he is looking forward to doing on OTT. 

AJAY DUTT ON HIS ACTING JOURNEY 

While interacting with us, Ajay revealed that he always wanted to be an actor. This is the place where he belongs. He was initially working in a retail company as a general manager. He was earning well but he was always looking forward to some opportunities. He started getting some television commercials. One of his commercial hit the ball out of the park, and he started getting recognition and receiving calls for some amazing projects from television. Initially, he tried to manage his corporate life and acting life together, but after a certain point of time it was very difficult to manage both of them as he was not able to focus on his acting. 

The actor revealed that later, he had to leave his job, and when he did that, he became the director of the company, but he chose his passion and dreams which is acting. His hard work and dedication helped him live his dream. There have been many ups and downs in his life, but he has always looked forward to doing something good and followed his passion.

AJAY DUTT ON HIS MANTRA 

He revealed that life has not always been in his favour. Some things were on his side, while many were not. He had to make some big decisions in his life to follow his love and passion, which is acting. The ongoing mantra which the actor follows is, 'Believe in yourself and listen to your heart and do your best in what you do'. 

AJAY DUTT ON TYPES OF CHARACTERS HE WANTS TO DO ON OTT 

With the rise in consumption of content on the digital platform, we have seen many Bollywood actors, directors, and writers expressing their views on it. The actor also reveals that he looks forward to doing some amazing and different types of work on the digital platform. He would love to work in his favourite genre of thrillers.
