Kavita Kaushik dons a new avatar for Hungama Play’s ‘Tera Chhalaava’, actor lends her voice for the anthology’s title track

MUMBAI: Hungama Play, a leading OTT platform, has recently launched its new Hindi original web show ‘Tera Chhalaava’ on July 7. The drama anthology showcases five out-of-the-ordinary stories of love, deception and murder. Excitement amongst viewers is at its peak as they are witnessing popular TV actor Kavita Kaushik, making her OTT fictional debut. That’s not the only first for Kavita on the show as she is also lending her voice for the title track as well.

Titled ‘Tera Chhalaava’, the track and its soul-stirring lyrics perfectly depict the complexities of love that take an unusual turn on the show. Kavita’s intense vocals hit all the right notes as she describes what it is like to love with a broken heart, feel deceived and be devoid of all happiness.

Kavita Kaushik shares, “At first, I was nervous, at the same time excited to give singing a shot. It isn’t an easy thing to do. With the show being a first for me in many ways, this was the best opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone. I did make sure my effort didn’t go into vain and I sang from my heart. I did have a lot of fun during the rehearsals as I got to learn about the techniques of singing. I’m excited to see what audiences have to say about the track and look forward to the show being loved by them.”

Directed by Kabir Sadanand, the anthology also features popular names such as as Kavita Kaushik, Kabir Sadanand, Sandeepa Dhar, Manish Goplani, Anveshi Jain, Samikssha Batnagar, Amit Behl, Dhiraj Totlani, Aabhaas Mehta, Vedika Bhandari, and Archana Vednekar.
