MUMBAI: Koffee with Karan is a Bollywood chat show. The biggies of the industry grace it and interact with the host Karan Johar.

The show has had six successful seasons, and now it is back with the seventh one. 

Initially, it was aired on Star World, but now it streams on Hotstar.

The last season was a huge success with celebrities coming on the couch and pouring their heart out.

A new season has begun and the show is doing exceptionally well, gaining good viewership for this season.

In the latest episode, Rani Mukerjee and Kajol graced the show where they spoke about their professional and personal lives.

In the episode, Karan would ask Kajol and Rani about the differences they had way back in the 90s, where they hardly spoke due to those issues.

Rani said that she felt it strange when the two didn’t speak. She was clueless as to what would be the reason and why things weren’t good between them.

Rani also revealed that once Kajol’s sister Tanisha had come to her place and asked her the same question as why they weren’t in touch and they had no answer to it but finally things are well today.

The “Black” actress said that she was close to Kajol’s dad and Tanisha and for her Kajol was always the elder sister and things settled down when Kajol and Rani lost their father and that’s when the family stood by each other and things were well then.

Rani also spoke about what Aditya Chopra and she decided to keep their daughter “Adira” out of the limelight as they felt that she shouldn’t feel different from others when she goes to school and they wanted to give her a normal upbringing.

Well, the episode was an entertaining one where  Rani and Kajol were seen pulling Karan Johar’s leg and this time Rani spoke more and Kajol was the silent one for a change.
