MUMBAI: Right after the announcement and the first teaser, ‘Lootere’ gained all the attention. The series will be available to stream on Disney Plus Hotstar. It is directed by Jai Mehta and the showrunner is Hansal Mehta who is a well-known director known for his famous series Scam 1992. When talking about the cast of the series, it includes actors like Vivek Gomber, Deepak Tijori, Rajat Kapoor, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Amruta Khanvilkar.

Now Tellychakkar got in touch with the writers of Lootere, Suparn Varma and Vishal Kapoor. As the writers of the series opened up about various aspects of the show, we got to know some great insights.

When asked to the writers about their experience working with Hansal Mehta and Jai Mehta and what separates them from other directors, Suparn said that his debut with Hansal Mehta happened 19 years ago and he is a best friend and a mentor. Interestingly, Suparn met Jai when he was 8 years old. Suparn mentioned how Jai Mehta sees things differently and Hansal Mehta sees things differently as well.

Vishal said that it has been an honour to work with Hansal Mehta and fun journey to work with Jai as according to him what Jai Mehta has done with the scripts and his vision for the series is commendable. Vishal added that Jai Mehta has got this mad genius streak in him and the way he is able to get out the performances from the actors is something unparalleled.
