MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's reality show titled “Lock Upp”, where 17 contestants were locked in jail, played the game, and fought for getting bail to survive, was launched on MX Player and Alt Balaji. 

The audience has given it a thumbs-up. 

Kangana Ranaut made her OTT debut with this show. As a host, she guided the contestants. The entire concept is a setup in jail. 

The contestants fought hard to survive and entertain the audience. 

Karan Kundrra as a jailor did a fabulous job. He beautifully entertained the audience, and whenever he came on the show the viewership shot to another level. 

The show has finally come to an end and the finale of the show will take place today and tomorrow. Finally, one contestant will lift the trophy and the show will get its winner.

Karan during the finale of the show interacted with the media where he was asked about the mastermind of the show and what he thinks about the transition from a contestant to a jailer and much more. 

Who do you think is the mastermind of the show? 

Munawar is clearly the mastermind of the show and a lot of people have the same opinion because he understood the game, it’s very easy to copy a game but very difficult to have your stand in a game. Munawar played the game very smartly, and at the same time, Payal was also a fearless player and played the game with a lot of courage, and a lot of times she was hated for her game but that didn’t stop her from playing the game. 

How was the transaction from a contestant to a jailer? 

From being a judge to a jailer, I don’t think I can be a contestant again on any show because I don’t know what it was for me. I am very glad that I was behind the scenes on this show and now I realize that as a contestant one doesn’t know what happens behind the scenes and there is so much hard work that goes into pulling out an episode for telecast and I am glad, I saw that side too, and I am better off behind the scenes. 

Do you think Munawar has the best chance to win the show? 

Everybody who has reached the finale deserves to win the show as Lock Upp is a very different show. Its concept is very different and that’s why we gained such viewership. 

Which was the best moment for you in the show? 

When the winner of the show was announced that was the best moment for me as it’s a long journey and there were so many special moments that were filled with happiness while some were filled with anger; the entire journey was a roller coaster ride. 

Well, no doubt that Karan won the hearts of the audiences as the jailer of the show and finally the fans would get the winner of the show tomorrow.
