MUMBAI: On April 22, Gurucharan Singh aka Sodhi of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah went missing. His Fans, co-stars, and family have been worried about him ever since. According to the latest report by the popular news portal, the TMKOC star was about to get married soon, even though the police are still investigating the matter.

The actor was allegedly having financial difficulties, according to the report. Only a few days had passed since it was claimed that Gurucharan had last been seen in New Delhi before this new revelation.

According to the popular news portal, the investigation into the matter showed that Gurucharan “was soon to get married and was struggling with financial difficulties.” The report added, “He left his home for the airport in Delhi, but never took the route.”

Additionally, it has come to light that the actor, who portrayed Roshan Singh Sodhi, was spotted walking around Delhi's streets with a backpack and is said to have taken out Rs 7,000 from an ATM there before going missing.

The actor’s phone’s last known location, as per his phone, was Delhi. He was in the city until April 24. His phone has been switched off ever since. He was last traced near his house in Palam.

On Friday, it was reported that Gurucharan’s father filed a missing complaint which read, “My son Gurucharan Singh, Age: 50 years, had left at 8:30 am on 22nd April to go to Mumbai. He went to the airport to catch a flight. He didn’t reach Mumbai, neither has he returned home and his phone is not reachable. He is mentally stable and we had been searching for him but now he has been missing.”

In an interview with the well-known news portal, Sodhi's close friend Ms. Soni revealed that the actor had been sick for the past few days and had even undergone several tests. She also mentioned that Sodhi hadn't been eating right for a few days.

“Before leaving for Delhi, his blood pressure was high and he had undergone a few tests as well. He wasn’t even eating much before he left for Delhi. I really hope and pray that he is fine, and returns back safe and sound,” Ms Soni said.
