MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Richa Chadha loves organic and natural products. She even wishes to invest in a brand that propagates natural beauty and remedies. In a recent interaction, she shared some effective and easy home remedies and products to use.

“I'm not the best at this but when I'm shooting, I'm more regular. However, every day I wake up, wash my face, and put on sunscreen without fail. Maybe twice a month I go to bed for an extended period of time. If I'm tired and haven't slept, I'll doze off on my couch and wake up two hours later. But I usually use a nice night cream and a healthy amount of sunscreen in the day.

Things like Kumkumadi tailam are so good. I guess my essentials would be sunscreen, castor oil that works very well on lashes, eyebrows and lips, Multani mitti to get rid of tan, collagen night screen, and rose water as a toner. Basically, if you have these and a healthy bowel movement and a clean gut, your skin glows.

I swear by Multani mitti, it softens your skin but the trick is to not leave it for too long. Make a thick paste, apply it and wash it off in 4-5 minutes. It's the best detanning and moisturising thing. Spray rose water later. This is all for normal skin, not oily or dry.

Second, if you want a quick fix for the glow and you don't have time, take papaya and remove the seeds and rub it on your face for a few minutes till it hardens. It gives you the best glow. It works like magic. Finally, apply potato slices on your under eyes. They work like bleach.
