Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is now reportedly planning to step in to diffuse the deadlock prevailing between Salman Khan and the paparazzi. Yesterday, Aamir Khan met a group of photojournalists who had come to cover the celebrity football match organized by his daughter Ira. The lensmen appraised Aamir on what had happened and why they have been refusing to shoot Salman Khan. A senior photographer who did not wish to be named told us that Aamir gave them a patient hearing. “We told Aamir what had actually happened. Aamir listened to us and then told us that none of us were wrong. He said that he will try and speak to Salman on this issue. Let’s see what happens.” Meanwhile, Salman was ignored again at yesterday’s charity football match. Not a single picture of the macho man was clicked by the assembled paparazzi. An eyewitness present at the event told us that when Salman was gifting away the prizes, photographers kept their cameras down and not a single flash was fired. Later, when Salman moved away, the lensmen asked others including Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan to pose for a group picture. Salman’s Twitter statements too have not reportedly gone down well with the photojournalists. While there are reports that the ban would be revoked post the release of Kick, the photographer we spoke to denied any such development. Let’s wait and see if Aamir would be successful in getting Salman off the high horse that he is currently riding.
