MUMBAI : From being the cute Complan girl to the hot debutant actress in Tarzan: The Wonder Car, Ayesha has come a long way and made a niche for herself in the entertainment world. Her brilliant performance in Dor still gives goosebumps to many. The actress had a great professional life but her personal life has seen many ups and downs.

Ayesha found love in Farhan Azmi after two heart breaks, who were the brothers of well known actresses. Ayesha was in a serious relationship with Manisha Koirala’s brother Siddharth Koirala. The duo however were tight-lipped about it. The news was eventually out. She refused many films where she had to wear scanty outfits and kissing scenes to risk running her relationship. However Siddharth and Ayesha didn’t last long. The duo gave their relationship a second chance but still didn’t work out and remain friends even today.

Ayesha was then in a relationship with Ameesha Patel’s brother Ashmit Patel. After breakup with Siddharth, Ayesha fell in love with Ashmit Patel and they started dating. The duo kept their relationship under wraps and enjoyed each other’s company for many years. Things however went downhill in 2005 when Ashmit’s video with Riya Sen went viral. Ayesha walked out of the relationship.

Ayesha met her future husband Farhan Azmi when she visited his restaurant in Mumbai. Her frequent visits made their bond stronger. Interestingly the duo’s fathers also knew each other well. In 2005 the duo started making public appearances together. Speaking about him Ayesha had earlier said in an interview, “He is humble, modest and very hard-working. He enjoys his business and has a flair for it. He knows how to be a great friend and more than that, a great husband.”

Ayesha and Farhan tied the knot in 2008 after 3 years of dating. On the topic of marrying at 23, she said, “I never thought I would be married at 23, but that's the fun thing about life -- you don't know what is waiting for you at the next corner. I have been lucky to be with Farhan. Before I got into films I would paint, read books and do a lot of things, but due to my acting commitments, they took a backseat. But now I am back to all of it and I love it.”

After the birth of her Son Mikail, Ayesha gave up acting completely and spent  time raising her son.
