Honey Singh sings for Prachi Mishra in Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend

Honey Singh and Miss India Prachi Mishra

Not everyone is blessed to have Honey Singh crooning for them in their debut movie. While Honey's vocals have usually been creating hit numbers for the superstars of Bollywood, the popular rapper will be seen singing for former Miss India Prachi Mishra in her debut movie, Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend. We also hear that an entire birthday song immortalised in Honey's voice has been dedicated to Prachi in the movie.

Confirming the news to us was Prachi herself who said, "For the first time ever, Honey Singh has sung a song for an actress. It's a birthday song called Birthday bash. The song is featured on me because it's my birthday that is being celebrated and Honey singing it makes it even more special. It's got a catchy tune and after a long time you will hear such a birthday song."

While the song will bear the trademark Honey Singh stamp, it's the unique shoot location that Prachi believes will become the talking point. "The song has been shot in Roberto Cavalli in Dubai and it's the first Hindi song to be shot there. The cinematography and direction is absolutely amazing and audience will love this song."

The movie will see Prachi pairing up with Divyendu Sharma. Talking about her role and the quirky movie title, Prachi says, "Sakshi is just like any other Delhi girl. She is clear headed, independent and knows what she wants in life. The word Zaalim is because when a guy doesn't get a girl he loves, she will be called Zaalim by him."

While the newly released poster of the movie sees a hot pants and high heels donning Prachi dominating Divyendu who is down on his knees, the actress insists that there is no bold content in the movie. "It's a family movie and there are no bold scenes in it. You will find the usual romantic moments like holding hands and nothing more."

Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend will release in theaters all across India on 20 March.
