Leonardo DiCaprio invests in sustainable footwear brand

Actor Leonardo DiCaprio's latest investment will help in making sustainable, eco-friendly fashion more mainstream with his sustainable footwear company 'Allbirds‘.

The environmentally conscious actor has been active towards the battle against climate and environmental changes, and has now invested in an eco-friendly footwear company, as per media reports.

"Creating sustainable consumer products requires a deep commitment from brands that understand the role they have in helping solve our environmental crisis," DiCaprio said in a statement.

DiCaprio, 43, donated $1 million to help protect marine life in Seychelles from his foundation, and in the year 2017, he announced that his foundation would be donating a $20 million grant to help combat climate change.

CBS CEO Moonves to remain at work

Despite facing sexual abuse allegations, Leslie Moonves will remain as CBS CEO till the matter is investigated properly by an outside counsel.

"Its Board of Directors is in the process of selecting outside counsel to conduct an independent investigation.

"No other action was taken on this matter at today's board meeting. Additionally, the Board determined to postpone CBS Corporation's 2018 annual meeting of stockholders that was previously scheduled to be held on 10 August, 2018," the company said in a statement, reports suggest so.

The media conglomerate met following sexual misconduct claims made by six women in Ronan Farrow's exposé in The New Yorker, which was published on 27 July.

In a statement, Moonves said, "I recognize that there were times decades ago when I may have made some women uncomfortable by making advances. Those were mistakes and I regret them immensely. But I always understood and respected -- and abided by the principle -- that 'no' means 'no', and I have never misused my position to harm or hinder anyone's career."

On 27 July, the CBS board of directors said that it would take the claims "seriously" and investigate the allegations of misconduct against Moonves.

‘Fantasy Island' movie in works

Popular American TV series Fantasy Island is all set to turn into a feature film.

Blumhouse and Sony productions have teamed up with filmmaker Jeff Wadlow to start work on the movie, reports suggest so.

Made under Spelling-Goldberg Productions, the Fantasy Island television series ran on ABC between 1977 and 1984. It starred Ricardo Montalban as the white-suited Mr. Roarke who oversees a mysterious island where people could live out their fantasies for a price. The series often dealt with dark themes and the supernatural.

The popular series ran for seven seasons with 152 episodes.

The Fantasy Island movie will be penned by Wadlow and co-writers, Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs.

Tyson Beckford calls Kim Kardashian's body 'not real'

Model Tyson Beckford finds nothing real about Kim Kardashian West's body.

Beckford made the comment in reference to one of Kim's photographs on social media.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was wearing tight black pants and a black cut-out top that showed off her abs while arriving for her appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". Beckford accused Kardashian of getting plastic surgery over her body, as per media reports.

"Sorry I don't care for it personally," Beckford, 47, commented on about the picture.

"She is not real, doctor f**ked up on her right hip," he added with a green vomiting emoji.

Kim, 37, later responded to Beckford, writing, "Sis we all know why you don't care for it."

She added tea, frog and painting nails emojis.

Kanye West bonding with dad during cancer treatment

Rapper Kanya West has been spending quality time with his father Ray West, who is undergoing cancer treatment.

Ray has been receiving treatment for prostate cancer here. He is surrounded by son Kanye and his three grandchildren, reports suggest so.

Since Ray lives in Chicago, the father-son duo does not get much time together because of the distance.

Kanye dropped everything to get his father the best medical treatment possible in Los Angeles once he got the cancer news and Ray has been responding well to treatment.

Millie Bobby Brown splits with singer beau

Actress Millie Bobby Brown, 14, has announced that she and her boyfriend, singer Jacob Sartorius, 15, have split.

The Stranger Things star took to Instagram to reveal her break-up, reports suggest so.

Brown said it was a mutual decision and they remain friends.

The "Hooked on a Feeling" singer shared his thoughts about the break-up on his Instagram page, "The decision with Mills was completely mutual and we are both happy and remain friends."

Brown and Sartorius made their relationship public in February with a Valentine's Day post on social media but were rumoured to be dating since last December.

Both Brown and Sartorius have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Florence Pugh to star in Ari Aster's horror film

Lady Macbeth lead actress Florence Pugh will star in Ari Aster-directed upcoming horror film.

The title of the film has not been decided yet, and along with Pugh, the film casts actors Brits Jack Reynor and Will Poulter, as per media reports.

The actress gave the news during the TCA presentation of her new BBC mini-series The Little Drummer Girl, being produced by The Ink Factory, which was behind The Night Manager, and later confirmed it on Twitter.

"What a role this will be... God I am pumped/nervous/can't believe this is happening," she said.

Being produced by Lars Knudsen producing, the film will be financed and distributed by the entertainment company A24.

Pugh won a best actress British Independent Film Award (BIFA) in 2017 for Lady Macbeth and was also nominated for the BAFTA Rising Star Award in the same year.

World of 'Christopher Robin' feels very real: Ewan McGregor

Actor Ewan McGregor says his upcoming live action film Christopher Robin has a realistic touch to it.

"Looking at our sets and the stuff, we have done outdoors on the streets where we have turned the streets of London into 1949 London streets, it looked so real," McGregor said in a statement to a leading publication.

"I have done lots of period things and the danger with period films is that they can become sort of in your face and you can see the period. But on this film somehow it didn't... It just felt very realistic. And I think it was due to our talented production design and costume design," he added.

Disney's Christopher Robin brings the timeless charm of A.A. Milne's stories and characters to the big screen.

The film narrates the story of a young boy who embarks on a journey full of adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals. In the film, he has grown up and lost his way. McGregor will be seen as Christopher Robin in the Marc Forster directorial.

It also features the voices of Jim Cummings, Brad Garrett, Toby Jones, Nick Mohammed, Peter Capaldi and Sophie Okonedo.

He says, "The creatures that they have made or designed for this film are amazing. They're amazingly characterful just sitting still".

The film is slated to release in India on 10 August.

French Montana's Calabasas mansion robbed

Rapper French Montanas Calabasas home was robbed.

At least two armed male suspects forced entry into the 33-year-old rapper's mansion, the Calabasas Sheriff Department told an online media.

Deputies responded to an armed robbery call at around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. However, upon their arrival, the suspects had already fled the scene, said a spokesperson for the department.

While authorities were able to determine a home invasion occurred, the spokesperson said, it is unclear how much was stolen or what was taken.

At least two residents were at the location at the time of the robbery, but authorities were not able to confirm if any of them were Montana, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch.

There were no injuries as the fire department was not dispatched.

Montana previously bought the home from Selena Gomez, 26, reports suggest so.

Maggie Q, Luke Hemsworth to star in 'Death of Me'

Designated Survivor fame actors Maggie Q and Luke Hemsworth have grabbed roles in Darren Lynn Bousman directorial horror-thriller feature film Death of Me.

Penned by Ari Margolis and James Morley III and David Tish, the film's story revolves around a couple on an exotic holiday who awaken one morning with a hangover and no recollection of what transpired. When playing back the video of their previous night, they learn they participated in a ritual that somehow ended with the husband murdering the wife though she's actually very much alive, reports suggest so.

Bousman said, "Getting to work with such talented actors and crew is a dream come true. I am excited for people to see this incredibly macabre and suspenseful tale we have been working very hard on."

The shooting for Death of Me has already been started in Thailand.

Khloe Kardashian hits back at shamers over parenting skills

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian hit out at trolls who questioned her parenting skills after she took some time away from daughter True.

The mother of one, who gave birth to her three-month-old daughter in April, shared her thoughts on Twitter on Tuesday night. She not just hit back at her critics, but gave encouragement to working mothers too, as per media reports.

"Completely over mommy/body shamers! Women who choose to take their time after baby, I'm so proud of you! Women who choose to work out after baby, I'm so proud of you," Khloe tweeted.

"We all must do what's best for us! Please be kind to yourself! A happy mommy makes for a happy baby! Love your process," she added.

In a second tweet, Khloe, 34, tweeted, "We are so hard on ourselves. Please be patient and gentle with your journey. Don't compare yours to anyone else's. You are right where you need to be! You are amazing!! You are worthy!"

On Sunday, the "Good American" jeans founder also clapped back at those judging her.

"Mommy shamers are at a high right now. I'm sick, at a charity event and I'm getting slack for being here because I have a baby? Her dad is watching her while I'm trying to bring awareness to an amazing organization. But either way, what's wrong with a new mom letting daddy take over for a few hours?," Khloe tweeted. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star shares her daughter with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, 27.

Kylie Jenner now has her own Instagram filter

Television personality and model Kylie Jenner has got her very own custom filter on Instagram.

Jenner's followers can now open the application's front-facing camera and take seven of Kylie Cosmetics' most popular Lip Kit shades Candy K, Dolce, Posie K, Say No More, Shady, Boy Bye and Glitz for a virtual test through the filter, reports suggest so.

Jenner's filter will also add false lashes, contouring and a softly flattering blur to Instagrammers' faces.

Since the almost billionaire‘s beauty products are sold exclusively online, the filter should prove useful for those wishing to try out a shade before purchasing.

Since the make-up mogul founded Kylie Cosmetics in February 2016, her company has earned a revenue of $630 million.

Netflix won't stream Louis Farrakhan documentary

Digital platform giant Netflix will not be streaming a controversial documentary about Louis Farrakhan, the black nationalist leader who heads the African American political and religious movement Nation of Islam.

Farrakhan has also been branded as anti-Semitic by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

A Netflix company spokesperson on Tuesday said reports that the streaming service would add the documentary My Life's Journey Through Music next month were a result of a communication error, as per media reports.

"This film will not be released on Netflix. Due to an internal miscommunication, it appeared to be scheduled for release on Netflix, but it is not. We apologise for any confusion this has caused," the spokesperson said.

Farrakhan announced on Twitter on Monday that the film, which he helped make, would be coming to the service in August.

"On 1 August, watch the premiere of my music documentary My Life's Journey Through Music on Netflix," the Nation of Islam leader wrote.

The film was also included last week on a list published by British site The Independent of movies coming to the UK version of Netflix in August.

Twitter last month removed Farrakhan's verified status after he posted a video with the caption "thoroughly and completely unmasking the Satanic Jew and the Synagogue of Satan".

Noah Cyrus dating SoundCloud rapper Lil Xan

Singer Noah Cyrus is dating SoundCloud rapper Lil Xan.

"It's new," a source told people.com of her relationship with Xan, whose real name is Diego Leanos.

Fans started questioning whether Miley Cyrus's little sister and the 21-year-old rapper were dating after Xan posted a selfie with Noah, and captioned it. 

The following day, the "Betrayed" rapper shared another shot of himself with Noah, but this time he can be seen sweetly kissing her on the cheek.

"My baby girl," he wrote.

Noah also went Instagram official, sharing a social media photograph in which they have packed in public display of affection.
