MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla is still well-known for her energetic parts in the 1990s movies. Every successful movie praised her as "heroine." Juhi Chawla married Jay Mehta in December 1995, leaving the film industry behind after captivating viewers with her acting skills. After her daughter Jhanvi Mehta was born in 2001, the actress fully embraced motherhood. She was then fortunate enough to have a son, whom she called Arjun Mehta.

Juhi Chawla resides in her Mumbai ancestral house with her family. The house in Malabar Hills was bought by Jay Mehta's grandfather in the 1940s. Magnificent artwork, a traditional touch, and a calming atmosphere fill the house.

The businessman's uncle resides on one level of the house, while Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla occupy the other two. Jay Mehta reportedly has his art collection on two other stories. The family renovated their terrace in 2021 after the design of renowned Sri Lankan architect Channa Daswatte. Their cozy L-shaped leather couch and wooden furniture pieces give their living area a nostalgic feel.

Nothing is more beautiful than a room dedicated just to Gods, and Juhi Chawla was concerned about maintaining a place in her house where someone might worship and peacefully follow their spiritual path. The large windows let in natural light, which uplifts the atmosphere in the space.

An old carpet from the family's collection softens the built-in bench seating area on Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla's open upper terrace. Barker Furniture has armchairs with copper frames and a bench that looks similar.

A dining table for eight people is situated on the terrace of Juhi Chawla's stunning house, providing a breathtaking view of Mumbai.
