Natasha Suri tests positive for COVID

MUMBAI : Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover are all set to wow fans with their sizzling chemistry in Dangerous, an upcoming MX Player exclusive that also stars former Miss World India, Natasha Suri. The latter, however, won't be able to participate in its promotions as she recently tested positive for COVID-19. In an interview with Bombay Times, Natasha opened up on how she got infected with the virus and her treatment for the same. Natasha revealed that it was after her recent trip to Pune that she started feeling some symptoms like weakness, fever, and sore throat. Upon getting tested, it came positive and the actress is currently under home quarantine.

Natasha said, "Around six days ago, I had gone to Pune for some urgent work. After I came back, I fell ill and had a fever, sore throat and weakness. I underwent a test three days ago, which came positive. Currently, I am in home quarantine. I still have fever and weakness. I am on medication and also taking immunity boosters. I live with my grandmother and sister, so I will get them tested, too.” She further expressed her sadness on not being a part of Dangerous' promotions that kick-start from tomorrow. "The promotions were to begin from August 10, and I am very sad that I won’t be able to participate in them," said the actress.

She added, "Nonetheless, I am excited about the project, sharing screen space with some very good actors and working with such a great team."
