MUMBAI : Ranbir and Alia have been setting a couple of goals for a really long time now. The actors have been in a relationship for over five years since the duo met on the sets of Brahmastra and have been confessing about their marriage goals since then.

The couple has shared an image on social media of them getting married, baffling their fans over the wedding news. Ranbir was seen wearing the wedding sherwani while Alia was into her beautiful bridal gown along with a garland around their necks. But this isn’t actually true! The image has been going extremely viral over social media with Ranbir and Alia celebrating the April-fool ritual with their fans. Although the couple has been discussing their marriage plans, they aren’t yet married!

The couple has been frequently encountered with several questions for revealing their wedding plans and future ahead. While promoting his father’s last film Sharmaji Namkeen, Ranbir revealed in an interview, “I don’t know when I’m going to get married. We haven’t really decided on a date. But that’s definitely on the cards. We’ve not printed those cards yet, but it is on the cards!” Even Alia has her comments on Ranbir and their relationship status saying, “In my head, I am married to Ranbir, in fact, I am married to Ranbir in my head for a long time”.
Meanwhile, fans are really excited to see the couple together on the big screen for the film Brahmastra. The director, Ayan Mukherjee wrapped up the shoot this week in Varanasi. The film is all set to release on September 9.
