During his podcast interview with Beer Biceps Ranveer Allahbadia, Randeep revealed, “He always advises me to earn more money and do more work. He tells me if I don’t build a fortune by working now, I might face troubles in the future. I have obeyed very few of them, but he always talks to me with the best interest in his heart.”

The actor added, “He has always given me great advice. I just couldn’t follow it. I have a different thought process, but I always listen to the advice and try to follow it. I cannot change too much as a person. He is very intense, intelligent, and a thinker. I am more of a bro to him. I am very emotional too.”

Randeep Hooda’s directorial debut Swatantrya Veer Savarkar released on March 22. It received acclaim for the realistic performances of its cast. In the same interview, the actor opened up about the financial constraints he faced during the biopic’s filming.

The film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar, directed by Randeep Hooda, was released on March 22. The cast's genuine performances earned them praise. The actor discussed his financial struggles while filming the biopic in the same interview. The movie's producer was none other than Randeep Hooda.

According to the actor, he resorted to selling his father’s properties to bear the film’s expenses. In a podcast interview with influencer Ranveer Allahbadia, Randeep talked about the making journey of the biopic and the challenges he went through.

Initially, he wanted to release the film on August 15 last year. When that did not happen, he wanted the date of January 26, but it could not happen as well. He revealed that when he was roped in as the director for the film, he wanted to make a quality film and not just a masala entertainer.

He stated, “My father had saved up and bought a few properties for me in Bombay, and I let go of them for this film.” The actor added, “I felt I could not stop making this film. The kind of support this film should have received, it didn’t get.”

Next, Randeep Hooda discussed his dramatic metamorphosis for the movie and how he was able to pull it off. During his diet, which included solely water, black coffee, and green tea, he weighed about 60 kg. He later added things like nuts, dark chocolate, omelets, and chilla. He recalled how he used to lose sleep and even fell a few times on the set.

In addition to serving as the film's title character, Randeep Hooda makes his directorial debut with Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. Ankita Lokhande, Amit Sial, Chetan Swaroop, and others are present in the cast. Under the banner of Randeep Hooda Films, Legend Studios, Avak Films, and Anand Pandit Motion Pictures, it is produced by Randeep Hooda, Sam Khan, Anand Pandit, Yogesh Rahar, and Sandeep Singh.
