Actor Sonu Sood’s father, Shakti Sagar Sood, suffered a cardiac arrest on February 7 in their home town Moga, Punjab. He was already fighting respiratory issues for a while, says a news site.

The news website adds further that he was having a conversation with his son Sonu when he fell. Even though he was rushed to the hospital, he couldn’t be saved. He was 77. May he rest in peace.
